In our opinion, one of the most beautiful forests in the Noordoostpolder! You must have walked here. In the Waterloopbos, more than thirty large waterworks from all over the world can be seen. During a beautiful walk, you can admire all these scale models. Children can have a great time at the large water play area and discovering all the delta works. Among others, the ports of Rotterdam, IJmuiden, Bangkok, Lagos, and Istanbul were designed here; for years, research was conducted by the Waterloopkundig laboratorium.
You can admire all the delta works and ports via various walking routes that depart from the information center. Also easily accessible for less mobile people via two routes.
