The attractive hotel/grand café, also known as the Living Room of Emmeloord, has a classic and warm appearance. A meeting place for young and old, you immediately feel at ease.

Our service
The service is under the hospitable leadership of Nils Dijkstra. He started as a young, uninhibited apprentice and is now at the head of the entire team. Nils and his team do everything to make your stay enjoyable.
They help you with your choices, make suggestions when desired and, most importantly: they do this with great pleasure.
Our kitchen
The kitchen brigade, led by chef Robbin Gerritsen, makes extensive use of products from local suppliers. All recipes are composed in our kitchen and the dishes are prepared à la minute with pure ingredients. Our chef tries to take the different seasons into account as much as possible when creating the menu. Trigger your senses by seeing our menus.
There is also an extensive snack menu that only makes your drink more flavorful. Of course with the original Van Dobben bitterbal, but also a tasty snack board or a bowl of warm nachos with guacamole and much more.
Beer
In our assortment you will find a wide range of different beers. We have 9 taps, each with a different type of (special) beer. It is special that we are one of the few in the Netherlands to have a special Duvel tap.
We also serve a large number of bottled beers. Throughout the seasons we change the different beers so that in the summer you can enjoy delicious fresh white and wheat beers and in the darker days of the year a delicious heavier triple.
Wine
Our wines are stored in a climate cabinet, so that we can serve them at the correct temperature. In addition to our house wine from Argentina, we can let you taste many other grapes from different regions. A creamy Grüner Veltliner, a fresh Pinot Noir, or a nice firm oak-aged merlot: they are waiting. Of course, almost all wines are available by the glass. Ask your host or hostess for a good matching wine with your dish.
Fun Outings
In our grand cafe you can also go for a nice High Tea, a sparkling High Wine or a delicious special Beer Tasting.
