The Poldertoren has been the striking centerpiece of Emmeloord for decades and the symbol of the Noordoostpolder. Originally built in the late 1950s as a water tower, this national monument represents the pioneering spirit with which new land was reclaimed from the water.

Where water used to be stored, you now spend the night at a great height. Surrounded by history, special architecture, and a vast polder landscape.

You can park your car free of charge at parking lot De Deel, where the Poldertoren is located. There are also charging stations for an electric car. If you bring your bicycle, it can be stored covered at the main building and there is the possibility to charge the bicycle.
